  • Our new kitchen had been fitted with a drawer type recycling bin and it was useless - we had given up using it except for storing stuff for washing up. The tiny containers needed emptying as soon as you put anything in them. We saw Recycologic at the Ecobuild show in Earls Court and bought a Compactor 500 (now called recycologic 500). I fitted it myself and it works beautifully - it did take a little while but the instructions were fairly easy to follow. I have told the firm I bought my kitchen from that they should be offering these instead! Good luck with business. - A.C Knowles - Hampshire April 2010

  • So simple and a great idea. Was so sick of my kitchen being stacked with piles of recycling. I got my local handyman to fit it and he didn't have any problem. Highly recommended! M. Collins - West London - May2010

  • Bought a pair of Compactor 400s (now called recycologic 400) at Ecobuild. Easy to fit and they work a treat. Why don't you get them onto Dragons Den! - J. Redmond - Hoxton, London - April 2010

  • I have just fitted a sample of the new version of the Recycologic 600. I have fitted several of the older version before and these are a lot easier to adjust - the others were a bit of a pain if the cupboards weren't put in totally square. I am pretty handy with tools and I don't think I would recommend this for just anybody to fit still though. The instructions are good but you still need to know what you are doing when drilling the hinge holes. That said, this new version really is a dream. I loved the old ones and fitted two in my brothers houses as well as in my old flat. These bins are the future as far as I am concerned - they just work so well, once you use one you just won't bother with anything else. Not the cheapest but they are quality and still look good as new after 8 months. Think of the cost as being like another appliance and the convenience they offer- it's a no brainer as far as I am concerned. Keep up the good work Recycologic. - Mr. Osbourne - Fulham, London - October 2010 - (Repeat business client that has been helping us with feedback).
  • We love our Compactor Bin! (now referred to as Recycologic bin). Was tired of the mess of recycling and this has really solved it. My husband fitted it without any trouble - C. Goodwin - Richmond - May 2010

  • We had a pair of 4 holder bins installed (now referred to as Recycologic 500s) as we have 3 kids and generate a lot of waste. This has really made a difference for us as the recycling was such a mess. Now I even have the kids recycling. They know which bag to put each type of waste in as I drew pictures on the labels instead of writing on them. Its great, it really has helped educate them into opening the bin and making the decision about what the rubbish is and whether it is going into one of the recycling types or general waste. This is a great design and I highly recommend it. - A.L. Surrey - April 2010

  • I have to say, that it did take us a little while to get our Compactor 500 (now referred to as Recycologic 500) put in and adjusted perfectly but that was probably more from not following the instructions perfectly. They are definitely more complicated to put together than Ikea shelves so don't try to put one in if you struggle with that. The bin is great though and has transformed our kitchen back into a nice place. It is true that the liners do not rip when you are lifting them out and the drip tray is SO easy - why aren't they used in other bins???? We didn't fit the pedal because our kitchen has brass fittings and it didn't match but please let us know if you start to make brass finish ones as it is one of the features I would like, especially now that I am changing nappies!!! (Recycologic Ltd say - No brass pedals available yet but keep the requests coming and we may start to make them)- D. Rayner - East Dulwich, London - April 2010

  • I am someone who detests clutter and the thought of having a different bin for paper, glass, tin and plastic in the kitchen did not appeal. This Recycologic bin is a great idea as it replaces all these bins, compacts a high volume of paper and plastics – all in a single kitchen cupboard. Easy to clean and maintain! - A.Pabla.
