2. Door openers

You can use any type of door opener you like - fit the same handles, knobs or rails used in the rest of the kitchen.

If the door is opened using a profile along the top edge of the door, please check the diagram below to make sure that the dimensions of your profiled edge are compatible. If the profile is too deep, the chromed magnetic catch plate may be set lower on the door, and correspondingly, the catch magnet be lowered using a spacer to set it below the top rail of the cupboard by the same amount.

3. Pedal - SLIDE MODELS ONLY

The pedal is the only part of the bin that is visible when the door is shut. A pedal is supplied with every kit but may be omitted if it is felt that the appearance of the brushed stainless steel is incompatible with the design of the kitchen.

- height of the door relative to the cupboard (5mm total)
- sideways adjustment (6mm total
- vertical alignment of the door (approximately 15mm total)

- spring tension for different door weights(lightweight panel doors to high density solid doors) SLIDE MODELS ONLY.

5. Hinge holes

If the doors are not made yet, ask the manufacturer to NOT cut hinge holes in the door. Kits contain a pair of self-adhesive covers to blank off hinge holes if the door is supplied with the hinge holes pre-cut.

6. Installation under a sink

Here we give you dimensions for the bins and some typical cupboard unit dimensions. Designs vary so it is IMPORTANT that you check your own cupboard dimensions prior to starting installation to make sure that everything is going to fit.
Basic rules are:-
- 1. use a sink with the waste outlet towards the back rather than the centre.
- 2. check the height of your cupboard and the depth of your sink and compare them to the drawing to make sure that you will end up with enough room to get your hand comfortably between the bottom of the sink and the top of the bin - this is necessary for fitting the liners.

7. Cupboards without a top wooden rail at front

If your cupboard does not have a top wooden rail at the front but has either a metal rail or curved profile, you may not be able to mount the catch bracket in the normal way. A simple solution to this is to use the Catch Bracket Adapter Kit.
